Two miniature purchases you really NEED to get...

 I've had to cut back so much due to the lovely prospect of losing the house but these 2 had to come first... both very well priced and excellent sculpting...

First of all is a tribute to the old Tom Meier Ral Partha classic Jabberwocky... based on the Tenniel sketch which is one of legend...

This is released by Jamie Loft at Old School Miniatures...

All you need to know about the creature is here;

Ral Partha still have the old sculpt available, perfectly cast up by Jacob Fathbruckner;

The second purchase was a set of Ratnik villager sculpts... cheap as chips and totally awesome... image purloined off their site purely for their promotional purposes...

'Sculpted by the very talented Igor Karpov. This is the first set of 10 figures which are part of a range of 18th Century civilians Igor will be releasing. Cast in metal these 28mm figures are suitable for most 18th century games'.

Available here for pre-order;

More soon, just need to get my act together usual. In the meantime here's a pic of my schmoo Arya...

See y'all soon.

I forget over the Jabberwock myself, but held fast. I do want the old citadel one that's creeping along the ground though. Those villagers are superb... I've always fancied doing a smuggling scenario and they would work a treat.

I meant dithered over the Jabberwock.... Autocorrect.

My Jabberwock must be getting on a bit now, then. Held in the Grand Duke's private zoo in Humperstein, he is looked after by his keeper, Frankenstein's monster!

Hi, I really like the look of the 18thc figures by Igor Karpov.
I was wondering if you know where the resin versions can be got (the Ratnik miniatures page suggests that the sculptor is handling these himself)? Thanks

No idea I'm afraid. What is the Ratnik Miniatures page? Not found that!

Oh, just from your gamingfigures dot com link.
Thanks

(cont'd.) ...I've just searched the company name again & found this - not their site but a collector's one: https://miniset.net/sets/ratnik/page-3
Some interesting pieces here with excellent costuming, particularly the medieval-looking Russian warriors. So presumably would need to search in Cyrillic to find the actual co.

(Apologies - just found a German distributor for some late medieval figures by the same sculptor - https://www.miniaturicum.de/Bruegelburg_s2 - in case it's of interest.)

Thanks, hadn't found those larger scale pieces of his! I have a lot of the Bruegelburg series though.
