Miniature Figurines Magazine 'Minimag' Volume 1, Number 1...


I was very kindly sent issue 1 of Minimag. A wonderful piece of the hobby's history. More details along with issues 2 and 4 here. The only pages missing here are the 2 inner leafs which were blank.

Great to see this and thanks for posting. No date on this - The Waterloo film mentioned is 1970 but that seems a bit early - interesting last page with its reminder of that typical feature of life in the 70's - namely strikes and utility cuts!

Thank you for posting this. I enjoyed reading it. My own Minifigs are generally 15mm 2nd Gen and I love them. The SYW British infantryman advancing is a favourite.

Does anyone remember the full color advert of Minifigs' 1977 Dungeons and Dragons range? It had most of the figures painted up and grouped together. I'm trying to recall where it was printed. I feel like it was printed in the early to mid Eighties.
