Things wot I painted in November.....

A mixed bunch painted during episodes of insomnia. Sleeping pattern is completely thrown at the moment....bed at 8, wake at 12, back to bed at 3, up at 5, children to school....then back to bed. Getting back to work seems to give me the only continuity in that I have to stay awake all night! Anyway, less waffle.....on to the pics....

4 more Wargames Foundry Pirates, sculpted by the talented Will Hannah....

Black Scorpion Pirate (Adam Clarke sculpt)

Black Scorpion Orc Pirate.......

Old Glory drunken Cossack.....many more to come from this assorted pack of goodies....have a look at the whole range here.

Westwind Pirate from the oop 50 Fathoms range....

Citadel Slann......I have collected these ever since they came out 30 years or more ago...this is the first one I have finished. I decided to go for a red base instead of the 'standard' green....the best resource for these is via the Collecting Citadel Miniatures WIKI.

Tom Meier sculpts from Ral Partha's old historical line...sculpted around 1977...now available via Iron Wind Metals..

Redoubt Enterprises lute player from their very nice Three Musketeers range........

Werner Klocke Goblin Pirate for Goblinaid....

The first of my Finns from Baker Company's Winter War Kickstarter

Last but by no means least, Wargames Foundry limited re-release Citadel Sci Fi Fishmen. Top sculpts and a big thank you to Marcus at Foundry. More on the way.

A broken sleep pattern is very difficult at best. Something similar afflicts both my wife and me and we asked our doctor about the situation. He responded that when you get a bit older - we are both in our late sixties - this might actually be our sleep pattern.

One thing my brother-in-law, a psychiatrist, suggested is to do something whuich would be non-stimulative. Read a difficult book but do not watch TV since that tends to stimulate your visual receptors. If you get up and paint, you might find yourself staying up later than usual.

BTW, your painting is excellent! Are you painting figures with which to game or are these for your own study and collecting whims? The figures are so nice I would be careful about letting others touch them!

All the best,
Jerry

Thanks Jerry, this happens most years when the winter darkness invades......I've tried most things but this year I have gone teetotal which is throwing me!

Figs are all for non gaming purposes. One day I may game but not yet!
